If this were true there would be no reason to ever buy gift cards again. The only way to get free gift cards is through cracking or constantly complaining through customer service and other methods until they give you one. My prediction is that your "guide" is the latter, which isn't allowed.

If I'm wrong, I can verify your guide for you with a vouch copy. A picture of a gift card isn't "proof" that you received it for free or that your "method" works.
