Well, honestly I think the main reason you are a loner, is of this post. you always need to have confidence.

I will give you some tips that may help with your little problem.

- Take care of yourself. (not to preach) Always brush your teeth, take showers, and really stay on your personal hygene.

- TALK. this is probably why you're not getting noticed or you having girl problems. I know this is every guys dream, but every girl won't stare and drool over you all the time. If you are interested in one, do ANYTHING you seem fit to talk to her or get to know her.

- Join sports. Honestly, this is probably the easiest way to make new friends and get some ladies. EVERY girl loves an active in shape guy. and joining any kind of team gives you something to do, and you can meet new people.

 

Well i think to fix your problem is to get a job. As this way you are meeting new people and get out of the house. Any job is good except the one's where you work at home. Even if you work at some clothing store you tend to loose your shyness and be more open.

 

Are you kidding me? read above as to what I stated after when I said "Join Sports."

joining sports will honestly solves all the problems he stated above.

(i'm taking it, he's having a majority these "lonely" feelings in school).

Of course a therapist will help, and I recommend you see one also.

 

Thanks for your help and support guys I've applied to a few jobs over the summer, hopefully I get them.

I don't suffer from child abuse or anything.

 

There's no one size fits all 'cure' for anything like this, you just need to try and open up new avenues to meet new people and rekindle relationships with old ones. It might be a sport, a job or a fridge-appreciation society for all it matters, the most important thing is to get out there and not hide away inside yourself.

I know how hard it is and it will take time, but eventually you'll get to where you want to be at. Also, as Sythe said your problems are rooted in self esteem, and a therapist may be able to help you overcome some of your problems.

However, don't feel you have to act like everyone else to gain attention and that you have to wilfully change yourself. All you need to do is become more confident and people will appreciate you.

 

You're being far too harsh. While he may encounter some dickheads if he joins a sports team or club, there are plenty of people who, surprisingly enough, play sport for fitness and fun rather than an ego trip.
