Dang, sorry for your loss I was interested in buying . Also make sure you were actually talking to black tux, I doubt he scammed you, probably impostor.

Here is how I was stupid and got scammed by the imposter, if you are interested to see my stupidity, lol:

First, I did not double-check the Skype name so I did not realize I was talking to an imposter. Then I told him that I have $3000 in Amazon GC (yeah, that's basically asking 'Please scam me!' even with trusted members I would say). He used another Skype account to call me (obvious sign #1). I told him we'd do $50 first, then after that we can do bigger amounts. He said no, saying he cannot say many payments with his Paypal account (obvious sign #2), and asked to do $500 instead. I typed the first two codes in Skype chat. He said don't type it, but say it over the voice call, mentioning that his keyboard does not work as the reason (obvious sign #3). After giving him $500, I asked him to give me my payment as we agreed. He said his Paypal account cannot send anything lower than $1000, 'cos his account is a business account and it has a minimum amount (obvious sign #4). All in all he managed to get $1200 in Amazon gift cards from me, and end the Skype call as soon as he got the last one.

I know I am dumb as fuck for falling into it this deep. This is almost as stupid as falling for those Nigerian scams that offer you money out of nowhere.

I know you are a newcomer and stuff on the forums but you really need to learn to trade (no offense meant). Next time request a PM in forums before trading.

And please, stop accusing me of scamming you when it was solely your own fault for falling into an impostor's scam.

I thought I double-checked this, but apparently I didn't. The one that I added was 'live:tbt_sythe' (imposter), not 'tbt_sythe' (the real Tux here). I am really sorry, The Black Tux, for mistaking this and calling you a scammer. I really should have triple-checked. I am removing all posts calling you a scammer now. Again, I am really sorry.

To all new traders: always make sure you add the right person and not the imposter. You can use the http://hatscripts.com/addskype?username_here as Tux posted above, but even then, be sure to right click the Skype conversation window and do a 'View Profile' and make sure that the Skype name matches. Also, people you have not added can chat or call you. If it is not someone you added, then it is most likely an imposter.

 

Give me a few days to calm down a little bit before deciding whether to still trying to sell these gift cards or not.
