Selling acc on here

Quick question, i've been a looong time lurker and recently toyed the idea of letting go of my VERY old osrs account.

How safe is selling here? where would you recommend? i'd totally prefer local or wires as this account is legacy with no email/jagex launcher etc.

Yes, it is a great place to sell an account. I would say it's the best place to do so. However, you are likely going to run into issues based on your reputation and feedback. Accounts are always recoverable. Because of this, people tend to shy away from buying accounts from sellers with no/little/zero feedback. If you sell it, you will likely sell it for 25-50% of its real value because the risk to the buyer is so great. Unfortunately, there isn't really much way around this - again, accounts are always recoverable.

 

I think you'd be fine selling here. As the seller, you have very little risk. Make sure your "terms of service" protects you, then list it for sale and set a reminder in your phone for bumping the thread to keep it near the top

Just make sure you record the entire dealings or at least screenshot everything relevant, get a Sythe PM, and use a middleman (I'd recommend accepting crypto since it's non refundable). Middleman will prevent the "no you go first" fiasco between two low rep market users

About the reduced value @owned is correct. I'd just set the price firm at around 50% value, it'll take a lot longer to sell but eventually it will sell. You could also see if there are any services in the forum that pertain to you, and try to accumulate vouches by participating in market while waiting for it to sell, thus building rep
