You're confusing Sphinx with Sphynx. The Sphynx is a breed of hairless cat. The Sphinx is a feline creature with the head of a human woman. Aside from the name similarity, I'm positive that they have nothing in common and a Sphynx is not related to Egypt in any way. Might wanna sort that out.

 

A Sphynx is an Egyptian cat, yes it is bald.

Even its origins are Canada and Egypt.

It's origin is Canada. The concept was from Egypt and based on the Sphinxes from ancient Egypt; yes. But the cat itself has nothing to do with Egypt. Just trying to clarify this since 'Egyptian cat' would implicitly label the cat as a breed originating from Egypt. I'm sorry that you see this as harassment but I'm just rectifying my point here, not trying to cause too big a fuss.
