Self Mutilation

Its fucked up, I know people that do it but I don't really look down upon them. One cutter used to be my friend and she glamorized it all over FaceBook, she posted pictures of her scars and cuts and a picture of the bloody razor. It was fucked, I was cool with what she was doing until she did that, we got into an arguement because I was trying to help her and try to get herself to express herself in different ways than cutting and glamorizing it on Facebook, that was about the downfall of our friendship.

 

It's some stupid ass shit.
I never thought about doing it. The only thing I thought about was how it would feel and stuff like that, of course. One thing I hate is that many only do it for attention.

It's just stupid anyways, so yeah, that's my opinion. I don't understand why people do it. It's not gonna help you, just go get a hobby and you'll meet new friends that can make you feel that your life is actually worth living.

 

You sharing your opinion on something you know nothing of is stupid.

People do cut for a reason, they don't just wake up and say "hey i'm going to go cut myself"

 

LMAO with people who actually have feeling for these attention seeking freaks.

There are anti depressant pills you crazy people should take, nothing should be bad enough to lead you to coursing pain to yourself. Your better of just killing yourself if you sink down to that level.

and for the above-
I know about these people, I read it in the paper all the time. Usually lonely kids who have deprived themselves from the outside world, and convinced themself that this is the only solution! crazy am I right?

 

Nah nah, you people judging and making fun don't understand. When you start thinking low of yourself and Sh*t and your mentality starts going into some F*cked up phase, and you keep sticking there and just continue with negative thoughts you get stuck, and it fucks you up until you can eventually get back to your natural mentality which takes a while. Now i'd never take it to that extent but i've sometimes been thinking like wtf have a been doin this whole time, nothing good, being a dumbass in life and shit, and those thoughts bring you down and get you stuck til you can find yourself again and bring it up. But like some people go to further extents and are in harder positions and shit and it's hard to bring themselves back up from it. So you don't have to sympathize for them, but understand them and be mature about it.

 

I can understand why people would resort to self mutilation, but it really is just dumb in my opinion because everyone I know that does it just glamorizes it like neschn said. And that isn't a cry for help, thats a cry for attention. the self mutilators that I'd be worried about, are those who do it secretly. You know what I mean?

 

YES, PILLS ARE THE CURE FOR EVERYTHING. Your whole family has died and the only way to fix it is to take more pills. Hey, if you're lucky they might come back to life.
