Since you mentioned "color libraries", does that mean it detects colors (kind of like SCAR)?

The community is online. Sorry about the issues. We are on special webhosting (anti-ddos protected) and our hoster had actually contacted me explaining the server we were on was undergoing an upgrade today and there would be downtime. I wasn't available in time to make an announcement about this issue.

And @ the question about using colour libraries, check the boards tomorrow (Friday) when there is a highly anticipated release scheduled. Jaco, Nader, and DarkXeD have went overboard on the updates in the last month mostly and managed to add a ton of things that were never added to the initial release this thread regarded.

Scion's had a ton of fixes with some bugs, some things (applet pusher) was added and removed, tiles were added, a great updater was created, full reflection, RSObject, Getanimation, an amazingly new fast OCR, tons of work in antiban, and security measures other bots dont have (accounts don't store in the bot so accounts can't be stolen like in RSBot) and scripts cannot be backdoored, or connect anywhere other than to scionbot to check for updates (yes, we are working to have scion automatically update without you having to login and download a new copy), and now scripts can execute any files or access any websites other than Runescape and the ScionBot website. Just a note to anyone who wonders about this, it is possible for people to create java scripts for rsbot to download files, and execute them, as well as scripts being backdoored which has already happened. We have taken methods to stop this issue before it could be a potential problem.

Also for scripters, Scion has one of the best thought up 'script authentication' of any bot yet, making it not only impossible to 'crack scripts' like so many have done with paid java bot scripts, but there not even sent to the user. Everything is 100% server based making your scripts completely protected. If your interested in scripting Scion and making a profit from scripts than this is a great alternative to selling scripts for other bots that will be cracked or leaked..

Be sure to check it out, and any and all .net coders/java scripters are urged to checkout scripting, its way easier than other bots like RSBot, check out Jaco's miner banker for Varrock.

It's great that this bot is coming out. The leechers that come in the forum once, download RSBot, use it to much and then leaves the forum will be left in the dust!! I can't wait for it to come out, looking forward to it.

You can use proxies on your own. Check out a program called freecap.

Also Scion can respond to people in game using OCR if that's what Tom Jr's post regards. It's all about the anti ban the scripter puts into it.

This is Very sad news Indeed, we are Really very sorry to say it.
I had phone talk with Jaco, and appeared that Frankly:
Jaco and i , got too much IRL work and we can't spend anymore time on the bot itself, in addition to that we aren't making any further progress with scion, since it needs Too much time to be spent, and Fields are no more hookable automatically due to 1/4/2009 basic rs system update.[thats a basic reason]

We really apologize alot, forgive us, You may still want to use Scionbot Forums just for fun talk and some usefull warez will be uploaded here as well. Peace Guys.
