Im at the party about 20 minutes in. Still a little confused on the story though. The music seems a little miss placed for the time period but i still think its well done.

Dude lame yeah at the start you're gonna hear so many stories of what people think gatsby is some say he was a german spy some think he went to oxford all this stuff some say he doesn't exist, watch when you get to like 50 mins in you'll understand everythin and you will really be curious to who gatsby really is
i'm getting a little crazy vibe off him ever since he had tea with daisy.

I KNWO ITS ALL DAISEYS FAULT EVERY SINGLE FUCKING THING she ran over the girl and then the guy shot him i was so pissed off gatsby took ALL the blame all the newspapers like he bootlegger hit and run, it was so sad tho his last moment of happyness when he was in the pool waiting for daisey's call and the phone rings and he smiles to get it and BOOM gets shot, and not one single person showed up for the funeral it was so sad.

Im still conflicted on gatsby. He did do everything for daisy. His letter said he wanted to make something for himself before they got married. He also seemed a little crazy though. He did seem genuinely a good person during the scene when him and tobey maguire where talking by his pool after the party when daisy and tom left. Im still a little confused on the end. It seemed like daisy tried to actually call gatsby when he was about to get shot but then you see tobey maguire calling him and the camera switching to daisy again hanging up the phone. At least he died thinking it was daisy on the other line and you could see it in his face.
EDIT: A moment that made me chuckle was when they where all in the plaza and after daisy left with gatsby tobey maguire was staring out the window and tom offered him some whiskey and he said "No thanks" then out out no where hes like "Its my birthday today" made me lol.
lame i didn't get that birthday part like what did he mean that no one celebrated it for him? and also yeah it was toby maguire that called him but to gatsby he thought it was daisey so he died happy it was all such a misconfusion that he hit the girl with the car all cause of a mistake daisey did i didn't get the end so she never loved gatsby? didn't even show up to his funeral
I think he mentioned it because he was doing so many favours for gastsby and everyone else and no one seemed to even care it was his birthday. Idk just my thought lol.
