Ok well Personally i'm scared of the dark, i just hate it, its so easy to hide in and for people to see you but you unable to see them i'm 13 and i know you will laugh but idc, is anyone else here scared of the dark?

no why be scared of the dark but then again the last time i was in pitch black was when we had a blackout >.<

I sleep without lights on. I do get cautious when I just finished after seeing a scary movie.

I was scared of the dark until i hit 11, I would not even go to sleep by myself. What my mom did was this, She would sit on my bed for one night till i fell asleep, Then after that she would move a little further (2 feet) until she got into the living room then i could fall asleep without my lights on or without mommy beside me. But to be honest, Even though i could get to sleep by myself i needed the TV on, I was always terrified i would open my eyes and see a ghost, But its normal.

There isn't any lights on when i go to sleep
Well.. technically, there is a small night-light in the hallway, upstairs, only about like 5 inches big, but for the rest of the house, there's no lights on.

Honestly, it's nothing to be disappointed about. It's a common problem among people. There are probably well-aged adults that are still irritated or frightened by the dark.
I still get a bit creeped out if I think about it constantly, or after watching a horror movie. Though, I just live through it. The dark can't harm you. It's just the absence of light.

I'm afraid of the dark too. Well, I guess it's because I watched the original "Texas chainsaw massacre" at age 7. Ever since then I've been a little paranoid. Which Is why I have to sleep with the T.V. on in my room, with something funny on. I'm 14 by the way. So, yeah I can definitely see where you coming from.
Nothing will happen to you. There is no valid reason to be afraid of the darkness itself (unless it's concealing a danger, a rare possibility). It's just your instincts acting up.
I take advantage of the dark, theres just something I love about the feeling of remaining hidden. Well, that would mostly be due to my nocturnal lifestyle. I sleep for most of the day, wake up at around 2-7PM and do whatever until I go to bed at 3-6 AM

Seriously. I sometimes dress up in black and terrorize the people living on my street.

You really need to face it and get over it, the last thing you want to do is get use to sleeping with lights/tv on for your entire life. Sure I get spooked and sleep with tv on sometimes but most of the time I think of other good stuff and eventualy I forget about it and fall asleep.
Does anyone play Man-Hunt? Not the video-game, the game where you hide in the dark and wear black clothes, basically like hide-and-go-seek, but more epic cause is in the woods. Doing that will make you love the dark, trust me.
