Scamming???

If you claim to be doubling money and take people's money, or if you are a flower game host and you don't pay up when you lose... is this considered scamming? and can you get banned for it?

 

yes, but it's unlikely.

that's why SOO many people do it. Jagex just don't care.

 

Yeah, you can, my friend used to do it loads and he got muted for "scamming"

 

Unless you actually gave them the same or double the money back, it's scamming. Reporting does little though, people get a mute at most.

 

sadly just a mute... scammers deserve a bann...

 

People have been known to only receive mutes for an offence called 'item scamming'. It's silly as in my opinion players should receive bans depending on how strong the evidence.

 

You CAN get banned for it, but it most likely won't happen.
People just get a 48 hour mute for scamming this way :/
