I only spewed one article at you and yes I understand that all it claims was that he was arrested.

Jagex wasn't going to do anything to help this kid because he admitted to RWT.

Did you just compare segregation to Runescape?

I mean, this may scare a few scammers, but the majority will continue to do what they do. If they get caught, I seriously doubt they'll get prison time, like Farcast said. Just think about how ridiculous that sounds...

Okay, but posting this only helps 'scammers' to continue what they so dearly love doing. By making this comment and others similar, all you are doing is telling people that it is safe to scam, so continue. WRONG.

He's just posting the truth, sometimes it isn't always what you want to hear. So essentially all you've done is create a baseless argument that you know is incorrect to try and prevent scamming? Jesus Christ, this isn't how you get mod.

I'm not looking for any rank. I'm only looking to educate others in to understanding what is right and wrong in life.

Lol I am sorry but this is the most ludacris comparison I have ever seen.

And pretty sure people know scamming is wrong, most people don't need you to tell it to them for them to understand that. Gonna have to agree with Farcast on his comments. Also, bit arrogant of you to think that what you have to say defines right and wrong, especially considering how entirely subjective those words can be in various contexts : /

Lol those kids got in trouble for coercion and assault or something. Pretty sure they threatened to beat him up and that's why they got in trouble- could have been anything not just RS.

this thread should seriously just be closed...if the motive is to tell people what is right and wrong or to deter people from scamming, then that's pointless bc that's definitely not gonna happen.

this thread is a joke. scamming will never be eradicated because of the ease in which it is done. if you are stupid enough to fall for a phish, then its your fault, not the scammers.

not likely that your going to jail for a first offence in hacking an rs account the judge will proberly just laugh at the case and give u a warning or community service

Most likely the judge would start laughing and tell you to get out of his court room with such a silly case (for scamming an rs account). Now for DDosing I can see how they would put you in jail for that.

I didn't say that you could, but if you were able to track it back then the legal action goes on.

You should stop bumping this thread, as its in the wrong section as well as an idiotic argument. Scamming will not land you in prison.
