Scamming Duo Fanta & RyanM17

Explanation of the trade: I was going to buy 500m in two separate parts, and we used a RyanM17 as a middleman. It turns out the guy I was buying from was Ryan's friend.

How they scammed: Ryan confirmed he received the RSGP so I sent the BTC. After that they both removed me from the chat, and I have proof of the second guy basically admitting to it. Now Ryan is claiming he told me not to send the money, when he did, and then when I asked if they scammed me they said "Yep!" and deleted the group chat.

Proof that it's their Discord: I checked the discord ID multiple times, but wasn't able to get a screenshot because they kicked me, but he does mention who to add in the screenshots.

Im sorry that you got scammed. But i tried multiple times telling you to wait for my confirmation before sending anything and also tried to warn you once i was kicked aswell.

 

You were not kicked, you even messaged me with pictures of the chat we were in.

That's part of your scam. You deleted the chat so I don't have those pictures. Your friend basically confirmed that.

I mention this because he was banned for impostor scamming (man in the middle). @Chemist - Where is the chat that matches the confirmation PM you received?

 

@Chemist I think Champ already let you know that this was a impostor scam by the guy Pendulum mentioned and a poor MM job by Ryan.

@ryanm17 let this be a lesson to you and others who take responsibility for other people's trading safety as a Middle Man to be aware of potential scams and risks and take proper steps to prevent them like a complete Sythe pm.

I've gone ahead and added a TWC to your account for poor trading practice resulting in monetary loss by another member. Do better in the future and I'm sure it'll come off soon.
