Explanation of the trade:

Offered to sell him $100 worth of iTunes codes for 45% asked me to go first so I sent him the first $50, after confirming he redeemed them he only paid 40%.

Only have a $100 code left and he offered 45% for it but won't pay the rest that's owed to me.

Offered him a refund but he claims he spent the iTunes credit.

If you're wondering why I am disputing $2.50, I'm bored and this guy is really dumb, just look at the stuff he says.

We agreed to $100 for $45, he proceeded by giving me 2 x $25 codes, and so I said, it's only $50, so I'm paying 40%, he said he had 2 more codes though, so I was under the assumption that he'd send $50 more, which I was going to pay him the additional $5 for.

He gave me the other 2 codes, which were already redeemed, and I called him a scammer, and he was like wait, they're from months ago, they're the wrong codes. So, I applied $50 to one iTunes account, and ended up spending it on an item which is taxed, so I didn't get the right amount of in-game items as I wanted. This wouldn't have been an issue if he sold me $100 like stated in the first place.

I paid him 40% because he sold me $50, and not $100 like originally stated. Also, he's calling me retarded, saying I'm a scammer on my vouch thread and being very unprofessional. I beg, that a staff member can bring him back to reality, because he's living in a totally different world. He's asking me to call up Apple and unredeem the codes, like are you ok kid?

Will let staff decide, but the 45% was for $100 as stated, not $50, I paid 40% for that, I'm not bothered about $5 honestly, but it's procedure and principal, also the fact that he's been rude has annoyed me.

 

The reason I paid 40% for $50, was because I knew he wouldn't have $50 more, or else he would've used a MM, or sent me them straight away at once to save the hassle, he sent me 2 REDEEMED codes, so you're in fact the idiot.

I could've offered you 10% or been asshole about the codes, I paid a fair rate, 5% less because I didn't end up getting the stuff I wanted. Fucking stop being a kid and annoying me about $5, you aren't having at, end of, also do NOT accuse me of being a ban evader, you're a fool.

 

Yea we agreed on 45 for $100, but he didnt mention paying only 40% until he redeemed the codes, otherwise I would turned down the offer.

unfortunately I only had 2 x $25 and 1x 100, once he redeemed the 2x 25, he won't take the 100 (so 150$ at 45%, but instead $50 at 40 and $100 at 45)and can't give me back the $50 codes since he used them

You can't just make up a price different to the agreed after you USE the item and THEN claim it wasn't what he expected.

 

He sent me the 2 codes, I knew full and well he did not have $50 extra, because he would have sent it otherwise altogether. That's why I said after he sent $50, I'll send 40%, then when the other $50 is sent you can have the $5, he did not send it, and now I've spent it. It's not my fault, that you did not send me $100 to start with, stop arguing over $5, the 45% was for $100, staff please close.

Though for some reason he gave you 2 $25 cards i have no clue why when he doesnt have another $50, you guys did agree on 45% initially.

To clarify why, the contract was $45 for $100 worth of iTunes. Dreamhole did not satisfy his end of the bargain; he only gave $50 worth of iTunes. This is a breach of contract. Ordinarily a refund would be in order, but that is not possible since the card was redeemed, as is standard practice. It would be unfair for NBD16 to wear all the burden considering he, at all times, was ready, willing and able to perform his part of the bargain. Splitting the difference between 40% and 45% was an otherwise fair way to ensure Dreamhole gets sufficiently remunerated while not placing all the burden on NBD16.

Still don't know why I'm paying half way, when half way through the trade he gave me 1/2 the amount that I required, which ended up costing me more than the 5% anyhow. It's kind of stupid that he didn't have the other $50 in hand, we both mutually agreed on 45% for $100, he had 1/2 of that, how is it fair that I pay him more, I could have been a complete dick and offered him 10%, but that's besides the point. The 5% deduction was because of the game item costing me more due to me having less funds, the more you buy in a game, the cheaper it gets.
