scammed for 540 btc?

So i bought a purple phat from Driveahonda and he now today has a temp ban. He was supposed to give me a phat yesterday after I gave him 540usd btc.
He said he was waiting on a worker and other things were said aswell that lead to him not giving it to me yesterday. He then said he would give it to me today after class but he is now temp banned on sythe and offline on skype. Is there any way i can get my 540 btc back? or do you think its a coincidence that this happened? I mean he had 200+ vouches and has been a member since 2009.
