Scammed by 8Tw2

Met this guy and attempted to sell a glitch to him. Was very shaky and untrustworthy and lied consistently through msn, also did not pay me.


I would like to deem him as a scam artist.


Background information: I was selling a glitch (15m) to a user named 8Tw2.

What was the glitch?: I discovered a glitch on April 23, 2011 that allows users to wield and use borrowed weapons. As of this very moment, the glitch is unpatched. I will be more than happy to demonstrate this to any mod that personally contacts me and wishes to verify this.


Evidence:




As you can see in the first picture I go over the basics with him. Explaining exactly how a loaned item works, etc.



Because had an understandable fear that the glitch had a potential of being patched a couple days later I decided to take half-payment after I showed him the glitch and he could pay me the other half after Jagex made their weekly update on runescape.



After we met in person I bought a staff of light from the grand exchange. Upon arrival at the glitch destination, I find out that he does not have the required skill level to wield the item.



I request that he call one of his friends to the location so that I could show him the workings of the glitch through them. He refuses and bluntly claims that he has NO ONE added anywhere on sythe or runescape with an attack level of over 75. My frustration at this obvious lie mounts.



After clearly outlining how to perform the glitch and telling him specifically how to do it in MSN (in the screenshot), he continues to assert that he doesn't know how to do it.



He then claims it is my fault that he could not wield a S.O.L and that I should have known that he didn't have 75 attack. This excuse may have flown if I had not specifically offered him claws in the 7th screenshot, which only require 60 attack which he has.





Here I offer him claws of which he does have the level requirement to use and he clearly refuses. I subsequently end the chat and log all of the information.

 

EDIT: He's showed me more screenshots of the chat logs + in-game proof that the glitch was in fact not working. What I'm going to assume in this case is that it was patched, so you get to keep the first half of the payment, but he is not required to give you the second half. I'll also be closing your thread for any future sales.
