Scam reports at an ALL TIME HIGH

I cant help but notice the amount of scam reports flowing in. I don't see how moderators have the time to do anything else but scam reports its like a flock of nats only difference is there are 24 hours not just at dusk.

 

Which is why we have five administrators, six global moderators, and a handful of other moderators all handling scam reports.

Besides, you've been here for 24 days. For all you know there might have been 2x the scam reports in July. How do you know that scam reports are at an all time high?

Even I haven't been here long enough to judge whether or not they're at an all time high, but from the time I've been here, they're moderated quite heavily. It's with the introduction of dicing, that there has been an influx of scam reports.

 

Vaders are at an all time high actually

 

When I was a mod, there used to be 25 pages queued up... It's less than a page at the moment, what the fuck are you talking about.

 

I would say it looks pretty good right now. Most of the ones up there are on going cases. We have had more vaders as of late.

 

Scam reports have decreased a ton lately. I thought it was hilarious when I noticed your join date. Work a bit harder next time before you make a thread, this one is pointless.

Well considering too all of you who think I am a vader lol its called Archives, dates times and comparisons. You know if you take a look at them you'd see.

 

Recently i am not sure if this has anything to do with it but, Soulsplit runescape private server was recently ratted then they leaked a database with all the passwords ect and kids just jumped right on that oppurtinity to steal some gold off other peoples accounts and try to make a quick buck, Well alot of the accounts are getting banned so people are just on here scamming.

They aren't at a high time, I been here for a bit, (looking through the forums since 2011) Just looking at the different bots before I registered, been banned once and TWC and also been hacked once. It's funny, because ever person on here is learning... there isn't many 10 year olds like "OMG, BUY GP FOR SUCH A LOW PRICE!!!!! GOING TO TAKE IT!!!!!!!!!" "OMG BEEN SCAMMED!, FOR MY PARENTS LIFE SAVING!, OMG SYTHE GIVE ME DA PL0Xen MONEY YOU GUY O ME REFUND." Most users here are now 13-14+ and this generation of kids are not morons, not many kids come on that are 10.. (but I seen a couple stupid reports....) But really you should ask Sythe about this...

It is a low right now lol. Due to the decreased activity in RS, what we mainly have are the typical vade and scam people. Granted, the dice has brought up a lot of scammers, so the low isn't as low as it was, but it is still low by comparison. Are you comparing it to the month before or something?

 

Yer market has fallen quite alot compared to a few years ago

 

I basically looked at the prior month before the sandbox was invented, and there are loads of scams from there so ye.
