Post: Report Taylor-- For Knowingly Selling Stolen GoodsWhy is this being brought up now and not when it was discussed with you? If you wanted to contest me selling it, the time to do so was when I had it, when I was selling it, when the MM confronted you, etc... If you truly believed you had a right to it, the time to report it was then, so it could be settled, and not 1+ months later, just hours after I expose you for something unrelated. If anything I feel like you're using this unrelated situation as blackmail against me. I'd also like you to explain how you came to own "Go" (it was yours, correct?), as that's an interesting one as well. Unrelated and unimportant though, so I'll leave that. The "controversy" I refer to in our talks was regarding the previous owner - that is, prior to you - and not the fact that it was lost during a transfer.
For the record, I still stand by my story which is that somewhere during the transfer process, you made a mistake. Maybe you did set it successfully and it was released afterwards? I don't know what happened, I trust only you know as you were the one transferring it. If I made a mistake, I wouldn't like to admit it either. If I sold a guide claiming to help people transfer names safely, I surely wouldn't like to admit it. I have made mistakes before though, and I've owned up to them. I've returned names (including two characters) that realistically, I had no obligation to, because I believed something might have happened on my end to disrupt a trade. I don't believe this was a mistake.
I used the term "divine intervention" because I'm a realist, and realistically, the chance of the program taking your name was and still is so incredibly slim that I wrote it off as negligible. The process of programatically registering an account alone takes longer than it takes for you to set a name, not to mention the fact that there were more than 1296 other names in the list with "Go" being checked. That means that somewhere in the 1-2 seconds you claim it took you to change the name, the program not only landed on "Go" (1/1296+), but checked the website, found it was available, registered an account, and set the name to it. That's why I used the term divine intervention. Any reasonable person would.
In addition to the above, Carl is unknown to you; not to the rest of sythe.org. If you wanted to speak with him, you could have asked? He's well known by many people here. I'm not sure why you're so convinced he's my imaginary friend. I didn't think it was necessary for you to speak to him so I didn't offer. I'm selling the name, he is not. I guarantee that there are a good many people you don't personally know that do in fact exist (another realistic assumption).
While it does seem to be a common pastime around here, I will not admit to sniping this name, as I did not. This non-issue has been brought up solely because I exposed your wrongdoings. If it was an issue, it would have been brought up at any of the numerous instances you had the chance to do so.

1.2.Vouch for Taylor--! I MMed a 750m Eoc name trade for him and everything went smooth. Taylor flawlessly xferred the name onto the buyer's account hassle free, which made the MMing much easier
Bought a super rare rsn from Taylor for 750m. Big Vouch easy to do business with would reccomend!
The reason that I am filing this report against Taylor-- is because he sold stolen goods which belonged to me, to the user “Bert”.
Around June 24/ 2014 A friend of mine messaged me asking what happened with my username “Go”. I told him that I had sold it to a close friend of mine on sythe.org, and someone stole it during the transfer. He told me that this user “Taylor—“ on Sythe.org was selling it, so I figured I would go and ask Taylor how he got his hands on my stolen display name.

As seen in the picture, Taylor admits that there is some “Controversy” surrounding the fact that the display name was stolen from me.
After some more conversation with Taylor, he filled me in on the information that I had asked him:
![]()
He outlined that the name was obtained by him on June 11, and he bought it from a good friend of his named “Carl” who does not use Sythe.org. His story quickly switched from him being the original owner, to “owning the account that it was transferred to” which was created by "Carl". I asked Taylor-- for some ownership proofs because I was going to confront my friend about purchasing this back and splitting costs, as I know he really wanted this username still.

This conversation log shows the date around when Matt and I attempted to transfer “Go”, and failed. Only a day or so after the transfer Taylor—claimed to own the username.

After even more conversation with Taylor-- he described to me how their automated procedure worked. It scans through a list of usernames, and registers them as soon as they become available. He claims that there was some sort of “divine intervention” (lol) in the timing and that is how the username was stolen from me by his automated program. Through this conversation log, Taylor admits to his partnership with his good friend Carl, who is an unknown user to me and to the rest of Sythe.org. Taylor claimed that he was the original owner of the account originally, in which he was NOT.
Matt was outraged by the idea of purchasing the account name again especially from the person who stole it from him, even though I was genuinely interested in helping him get it back.

Around 2 weeks later down the road, Taylor was still actively marketing and trying to sell the stolen goods which belonged to me/matt.
“Time To Buy” sent me a skype message with his concern about the rumour surrounding the goods that may have been stolen, because he was contacted to middle man the trade for the supposed stolen goods in exchange for 750M rsgp.
![]()
As noticed by the posted vouches, the trade involved my stolen goods was complete. I want to thank Time to Buy for responsibly going out of his way for the best interest and success of the trade that he was responsible for.
In my eyes Taylor-- should owe me 750M eoc gp or the display name “Go” so that I can return that to Matt. He profited off of goods that were knowingly stolen from me, and still continued to actively try and sell them without trying to issue a resolution of any sort with the person that the goods were stolen from. His lack of professionalism, misunderstanding of market morals, and mischievous behaviors should deem him at least a TWC. I would love the opportunity to be able to refund Matt with the display name “Go”, but that does not seem possible anymore. Matt will likely be satisfied to receive the sum of GP, which only serves as a portion of what he paid to me.
