Explanation of the trade:I bought a 40atk 80str/rng account from him over a year ago.

Amount scammed: My account that I maxed which I bought from him (so 59usd original purchase and all the work in training/questing)

How they scammed: I ended up maxing my account, they obviously found out. And they recovered it 2 weeks ago, the details that were provided to me were clearly incorrect. I have asked them to reconfirm the details and everytime I am recovering with the 'same information' that they use to recover, it denies. Because of this, I have requested them to recover it for ME as part of good customer service which they should provide seeing as I purchased the account that THEY clearly have the details to. The account was recovered back and not hacked. I received a change password email (from account recovery) then the password was changed. Now they are ignoring me and giving broken promises.

I'm not asking for my money back, I'm merely asking for my account back. They CLEARLY have the information required to recover this account back. I don't blame them in not giving it back or assisting me, It was a maxed quested pure.

Please let me know if anything else is required.

EDIT: I've just looked it up, they've been leveling it up. Now at 40def and 36prayer (was 20 and 22 before recovery). Looks like they'll be leveling it up to sell it as another sort of pure.. I've sent more messages to them on Skype about this and still no reply.

 

Sure - let me just give some mods some further assistance on this speculation.

I hadn't sold the account, 1 week ago when I updated its stats was before I had relogged onto my account when I was about to grab screenshots. To notice the PW had been changed - trawled through my emails to see that there was a PW Reset email on 15/01/2019 (which wasn't from me).

Please don't post stupid comments trying to be a hero lol.

No chance my email was hacked.. My email has diff passwords to my RS accounts, and no one else I know had my password. It seems to be recovered, I'd assume if they are the OO they would know how to recover the account with all accurate info (which they have not provided to me otherwise it would've worked).

 

P.S for what it's worth, when I noticed the Jagex email it was still unread.

Thanks for that, well I had it powerleveled previously by alxender. But I did check it once I was finished and nothing was linked nor did I get an email ever saying this..
