Just tell them for future references that you aren't religious and maybe they won't say it to you again.

People get so worked up over pointless things like this.

Another example is of some retard who is petitioning to put a 'Festivus' pole at Olympia's rotunda in Washington. Festivus was a fake holiday first featured in Seinfeld, in which people grieve around a pole. He started to petition after an anti-religion sign was put in Olympia's tree.

I mean come on, they're making too big of a deal of it. It's like swearing to some people. Some people can't stand it, but there isn't a huge controversy about it, is there?
