Santa/masks

I just bought a santa hat and a green h'ween mask 2 days ago and I'm not too good with the market or rares because I'm new to rares.

Was that a bad idea? Should I keep them or sell them right now?

 

Rares appear to be on an upwards trend (phats anyways). I bought a green phat for 800m on february first and they're roughly 1.3b atm.

 

Santas have rose like 5M over the last few days, so you should be OK keeping them, just make sure you keep them over time.

 

So don't freak out if both or even one of them drop a lot because they will always come back to the top? I might just hold them until as far as they go or just rot them. Was just wondering, thanks.

 

If you have the funds, keep the mask until Halloween and the Santa until Christmas, prices usually pick up around there.

 

Like I always say.. Short term or long term? Long term they will ALWAYS rise short term rise/fall. So if your looking to short term merch them watch the market buy low then sell high. Especially with free trade the market fluctuates a lot more then it did with the GE. So if it falls just hold on to it till it rises don't panic sell cause that's when you will loose a lot of cash. If you hold onto it in the longterm, you should make a profit. Just don't get scared and dump it when it goes through a minicrash. They tend to up and down a lot.

 

If holding them is restricting you from using the best methods you can for what you want with you account, then you should be holding them in the first place.

Otherwise above posters are correct about short/longterm distinction

 

No clue what you should do, I'm kind of lost myself with how the market has been since the Free Trade update.

I guess you're best off keeping the mask, and getting rid of the santa.. I have bad feelings about santa hats.

Rares will always go up, anyone who says differently is wrong.

 

I would keep them as an long term investment, If you want to sell one of them I would sell santa as the item is less rare in the game,but make sure you sell it high.

Do not "panic sell" if the current rares you've got drop 1-5M, it will all turn out awesome in the future.

 

Santas will go down I think dude

 

They won't drop, they will rise, continue rising, and overall never drop.

You may see minor drops of 5M-10M, but in the longterm, they will rise.
