Curious to what you guys think about it and whether you think it's worth upgrading from a S4 or switching over from a iPhone 5/5s. I'm going to summarize some of the key points mentioned in the article above:

- In designing the Galaxy S5, Samsung didn't go very far for inspiration. In fact, the Galaxy S5's body looks even more like the Galaxy S4 than the GS4 looked like the GS3. It has rounded edges, the same steep sides with shiny and ridged silvery trim, and a slightly more rounded central home button shape to the S4's more rectangular outline.

- New colors to choose from

- The GS5 is only a fraction larger than the Galaxy S4 -- 5.1 inches versus the GS4's 5-inch display.

- The Galaxy S5 is waterproof and dust-proof in alliance with military spec IP67, which means that it can take a bath for up to 30 minutes at about 3 feet down.

- The GS5 has a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 chipset, a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera (up from 13 megapixels), and a 2-megapixel sensor on the front.

I would definatley use the Anroid system over the iOS system. However, if your used to iPhone's it will be hard for you to switch over.

I disagree. Unless you're a middle aged woman the OS is pretty intuitive.

I have the S4, but probably won't upgrade. I usually go for the upgrade every other year. If I have to question myself if it's worth upgrading, it probably isn't.

Yeah I still have the iPhone 4s lol. Will be upgrading or switching to a Samsung by summer.

 

I have a S3 and I see no reason to upgrade to the S5. The only thing that it really offers is the new camera.

I'd be more excited about that Xperia.

I don't find it all that exciting. Not much has changed since the S3. Still shitty bloatware along with the nasty plastic casing.

However, I think it looks like a nice phone. I have a iPhone 4s right now and I am kind of tired of it.

A shitty one. The 5S' is better.

Actually from what I've seen, the Galaxy S5 has a better fingerprint scanner than the iphone 5s. It's got much more functionality than the 5s, since you can also use it for other stuff like opening specific apps, while on the 5s you can only use it to verify purchases and to unlock the phone.
