Salvia - should I do it?

I was just wondering if I should try it or not. I kinda gave up drugs a while ago but this is something that I've always wanted to try..

It is legal and it's about $50 an oz where I live..

My friend called me up and asked if I wanted to try it with him for the first time, so I'm just wondering what you guys think :O

 

Not really, nope.
Even though I doubt you'll listen to some random guy on the internet, you gave up drugs, it's not really smart doing it again. You will most likely stick with it.

Yeah, the whole giving up drugs thing is what is mainly holding me back.. However, the only reason I gave up drugs is because they were making me lazy and stupid. But, if you read about Salvia you will find that it can actually increase insight and concentration.

Salvia is a psychedelic and when smoked correctly it can be more intense than Magic mushrooms or LSD... It carries the same consequences as all other psychedelics do - it's legal status means nothing.

Psychedelics are generally safe but sometimes they can trip a few wires in your brain when used excessively or incorrectly.

 

Definitely. It's not really harmful for the body and it only lasts for about 10-20 mins. Just make sure you have a sober 'sitter' present and you'll be fine.

If you decide to try it, then don't overdue it. Theres a report like a year ago on tv where some teens ended up committing suicide. But they did like every day.

 

You're an idiot? Why would he get hooked to salvia? It has absolutely no addictive properties. I've done it several times, and don't find it to be hindering when I'm not doing it.

Not to mention, it's not a drug. It hasn't been qualified as a drug, and your definition and understanding of the word "drug" must be WAY off.

Here's some tips while smoking salvia:

1. Don't do it at a party. The loud noises, and loads of people will KILL your trip. You won't even realize it happened.
2. Do it in the seclusion of a dark, nice room temperature room, and make sure you're comfortable. Also, have a sober person around to make sure everything's safe, and you don't do anything stupid, or get hurt because of it.
3. Put on some of your favorite music. Nothing heavy, just something melodic like Classical music, or maybe some techno! .
4. Turn OFF the television and computer. During one of my salvia experiences, my sitter told me that I was flipping out about the little people in the t.v. Not a good occurrence.
5. The point of salvia is to give you a trip. If you are relaxed, and at ease when you take it, your trip will be much calmer, nicer, and when you come out of it you will feel refreshed and a little tired.

Nothing wrong with trying an easily accessible drug, not to mention, it's fun!
