Salvia divinorum

Most of you young'ens wouldnt have heard of this before, its a legal(not for me in australia, but legal for almost every other country) halucinagen.
I've done quite a few different halucinagens(i do tek's for fun), i would compare salvia to DMT in duration and power.
Salvia is arguably the most powerful halucinagen known, 300ug(micrograms) is a standard dosage. the trip lasts 10 minutes, and is VERY intense. you lose all sense of who you are. It differs from DMT in this way, on DMT i usually can keep some anchor, i.e. i know that i am me. that may sound a bit wierd, but you would have had to have taken halucinagens to know what i mean.

Compared to shrooms(i do cubies) its about as strong, if not stronger then a 5 gram trip.

ok, now that i have gotten that out of the road, onto the issue of the post.

After extensive testing, salvia has been shown to have no ill effects, it is not addictive, it is impossible to OD on, the LD of salvinorum A(active ingredient) is in the kilograms. As a result of this, it is legal in most states in the US, and most countries in the world.
As of today, only 8 countries have it as a banned substance, australia(where i am from) is one of them.

currently, several groups are pushing for a nationwide ban on it in america.


do you think it should be made illegal or stay legal?

Yea I never knew about this stuff, till I went to LA last year, they sell it at quite a few shops on the boardwalks there.

 

man i've tried purple salvia before, it was 20x, average potency. It's not that great, you feel high for about 10 minutes or so, and your body starts tingling, but thats it, no halucinating.

 

I say keep it illegal. It may have no health effects, but you could do something really stupid when you're high.

dude ive took two big tokes of 60x out of the bong and dude it felt like i was being pulled into another world shit scared me foreal cuz i wasnt expecting it to do that lol but its pretty cool. If you havnt tried it go to your Smoke shop and buy some

i say it should be illegal, hallucinogens are dangerous to YOU and OTHERS around YOU, you can do stpud things on hallucins.

 

actually its next to impossible to do something stupid on salvia. you are pretty much comatose for 10 minutes(i.e. you cant really move around much.)
then come out and are fine after about an hour.

the part of the plant that you smoke is the leaf.
If your salvia plant grew from a seed, 99% chance that its not real salvia.
salvia very VERY rarely propogates, and even less rarely produces viable seeds.
There are only 8 actual strains of salvia in the world. all the plants are just clones of one of the 8 strains.

 

Well, on salvia, you are like totally out. Being able to talk is miraculous, let alone walk. As previously stated, there is no possibility of overdose or getting sick from it, so I say keep it legal. I believe it is sold as incense anyways. I would also prefer it for people to buy salvia from a convenience store, then risk extracting their own DMT, and fucking up. Salvia is also cheaper then DMT.

 

there isnt much risk of fucking up a DMT tek...
if you screw the tek up, you wont get any crystals. if you do it well, you get pretty white(or yellow if you didnt de-fat) crystals.

where in australia can I get cheap salvia?

 

i tripped salvia before, i was on the ground and then i was on clouds falling thru them, like on cartoons,

 

1/2 a gram is $50 from dealers in sydney... i.e. NOT worth it.
Im currently trying to get a plant through customs.

 

Actually, $50 may be reasonable depending on how strong it is (e.g 50x, 60x, etc.).
