just got my own boat. 18 ft center console leader with 4 stroke 70 suzuki. Been tearing up fishing the islands and sand bars. So much so my ass is fucking fried.
havent hooked up on any snook yet but ive been catching mostly.

(I only fell in once, and i wasnt even drunk =P)

spanish mackerels ---> real good fight heavy hits.
redfish---> my fav fish these things r straight bulls.
ladyfish
catfish unfortunately (niggers of the gulf)
yellow tail'd jack
Black tip sharks
Bonnet heads aka shovel head sharks.
sail cats
snapper
grouper ----> very weird we were hooking these up in 10ft water near the sand bar....

bait: green backs are everywhere, literally only needed to make 1 throw with my net to black it out with bait. Also hit some schools of finger mullet and pins for variety

Weekends suck to much boat traffic and shit faced rednecks on the water. All day dickheads were hauling ass near us.... Theres a fucking entire ocean yet u have to come with 15ft of us..... Flair guns wat? (i only shot 1) I was quickly told the severity of doing that so i ceased immediately lol

All in all great week. Plenty of fish n shark (having a feast tomorrow)

ya fuck the cold, Been here for like 16yrs and im never leaving. Love the beaches and im just far enough away from the tourist traps but close enough to drive n party at em.
