Ags Pure in the making... Need help on what stats I should get

So I'm in the making of a beast ags pure my stats ATM are...
75 attack
60 Strength
75 Range
13 Prayer
75 Magic
71 HP
I was thinking just higher range

 

I would get at least 80 strength and then the corresponding range level to balance it out. Atk+Str = 1.5*Range for your account to be balanced, calculate accordingly based on whatever levels you end up getting. Also, you're going to need at least 25 prayer if you're going to be using an AGS, I would go for 44 but I think 52 is most common for this kind of build.

Yeah, the thing about AGS pures though is that they are very strongly melee based, so you're going to end up needing very high range very early on (i.e. at 75 atk 75 str you can have 99 range without gaining any combat levels), or else you won't be pking "efficiently". However, those stats look good enough, you won't be at that much of a disadvantage (if any, I doubt everyone trains up to balanced stats) from the missing stats.

You're right about 13 pray. 13 pray is FTW, lower pray = lower combat and can hit higher. Everyone who says get pray doesn't know what they're talking about. I did my calculations and higher pray equals lower stats and lower hits. I have an ags pure myself though, and it's not that fun with 13 pray. You always have to wait for people to attack you which is annoying. Get ready to die a LOT ags pures have low hp, and the maul will wreck you. Ags pures are pretty good though. My ags pure has 75 attack 81 str 1 def 13 pray. I hit 50s and stuff. A good combo is ags to g maul combo. I beast it with blessed SS to ags. Straight WRECKS.

If you stay 13 prayer you could pk without skulling, but in my opinion it's not worth it. Get 44.

 

would have to agree with getting at least 31 prayer. 40 prayer if getting fire cape.

 

Think of 31 prayer or perhaps even 43 to avoid pjers.

I have a ags pure pre eoc, was maxed best time i had for pking.

 

You should cannon the range to 80+ for no hp xp,then train the strength up to 70. Keep the prayer 13 or get 15 for ava's.

 

Agreed with the cannon training part

 

High range is most important. I don't think there's much difference between a 45 and a 50 for a ko.

Also I agree with the people saying 13 pray, then you also have an excuse not to skull

 

get 52 prayer, the specs plus the smite could really mess people up

 

I would raise your prayer for sure and then get the str to 80+ and you would be set.
