No, bigger maps on runescape = bad. If you played rs back in 2006, the game was so fun and so active because the runescape map was much smaller and content was more limited thus having people to re-use the same location. This increased player interaction and made the game fun, what I think jagex should do is ; add more content to the existing map instead of expanding the map. Keep it compact and the community will interact more, get the word around that runescape is "active", and ultimately help the player base grow. That's my take on any new content that expands the map.

 

Oh boy this is gonna be rough to get use to >...< I personally hate new updates even though they are needed in order to improve the game.

 

If they think through all this update they could make good update, just need to look for drops and everything not to unbalance the game and new content i think would be boring and dead.

They need to expand the game not add a new skill Imo, everyone is doing the same thing day to day bringing sailing into the game means everyone will just camp it till 99 then it will be dead content.

 

It's so odd. I was discussing options for sailing/ underwater skills on a friends game that he's making. All of a sudden this comes up, (I've never heard of it before).

I don't see why their implementing idea's that aren't really 2006/7.
They need to work more on making sure the servers are stable first.
It does sound fun. ...But... it doesn't seem like Oldschool to me..

If it creates a sink-hole for GP, it'll be a benefit.

I'm unsure, tbh.
