I've Got my main pending for un perm mute, and un ban my tank ranger did it the day that new system came out, still pending, i say its just because loads of people are doing it and its just taking long lol

Hi all,

Over the last few weeks there have been a number of threads created asking how long it will be before an appeal can be reviewed. Hopefully this thread will help explain the issue.

When the New Offence System launched we gave every account with an offence the possibility of re-appealing. As I am sure you can all appreciate, this resulted in a massive influx of appeals being sent in.

Jagex does not use a computer program to action an appeal. Every appeal is reviewed and responded to by a genuine member of staff, to ensure that your appeals are handled correctly. Our appeals team are working as hard as they can to go through the appeals. Unfortunately, as each appeal needs to be carefully checked there is no way of speeding the process up.

We appreciate and apologise that some of you have had appeals which have been pending for a long time. Unfortunately we cannot offer any deadlines or estimates as to how long this will take and there is no way of speeding this process up. We ask that you be patient whilst we go through them and you can rest assured that all appeals will be responded to as soon as we possibly can.

Hi everyone,

Just a quick update for you - especially as we have been seeing a number of posts from people asking how long it might take until all the appeals are dealt with.

We are now seeing the volume of appeals that are coming in dropping down to their more regular levels, but of course we still have a huge number to deal with as a result of the new offence system.

If the volume of work coming in remains fairly stable we predict that we should be on top of the appeal back log within 2 weeks.

This might sound like a long time, but bear in mind that the new offence system has generated about the same number of appeals that we get in about 7 weeks normally, and of course we still have all our regular things to deal with, such as password requests and offence reports.

We read all the appeals that are sent to us, and this can take a while - but we think it's important to give each appeal our full attention - so we hope you understand why it will take us some time to get back on top of things.

So our advice if you are waiting to hear the outcome of an offence appeal is please sit tight and bear with us - we know it's frustrating for you to wait, but we do have J Mods working 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to get through all the appeals we have waiting.

We will do our best to get people back into game - so please just give us a little time so that we can give every appeal a fair hearing and the best possible chance of success.

my account got banned for account hijacking and scamming.
basicly i bought a account from a dude on fagex and transferd some stuff the account had to my pure. and the dude recoverd the account a day later and reported that i stole his account and items.

its still pending atm

My noob account that was involved in the RWT has his appeal denied. I'm still waiting on my main that actually gave the cash away in the RWT. It'll probably be denied soon though...
