RWT major ban (perm)

Caught a ban on my main for RWT -- was trading less than 200m in gp or items each time and it was always with other higher level accounts. I have been trading for years unnoticed, until now.

My question is.. has anyone caught a ban like this and came back to their account unbanned after some time had passed? Or am I just dreaming at this point?

 

It wont ever be unbanned, ever.

 

Were you selling or buying? If buying was it after your warning or after a 3/7 day ban?

 

Unfortunately your account is lost and there is nothing you can do about it

 

Only ever bought gold, never sold. I never got the warning message, so I thought I was safe until now.

Weird you got no warning, maybe appeal and don’t give rwt as reason? I mean, you can always try.

Very unfortunate. Maybe they thought you were a mule, or maybe Jagex is really cracking down. Usually, for gold buyers, it escalates from warning, gold removal, 3 day, 7 day, etc.

I've never heard of RWT offences being appealable.

I'm almost sure he got a gold seller RWT ban because buyers always get warnings/3 day bans then 7 then 1 month then the perm or after the 7 day they get the perm.

 

I did have 16k vorkath kc, so you might be right.

 

maybe next time you buy gold try using a vpn so when u get a ban u can appeal it as an account highjack. Im surprised they didn't warn you

 

Yeah next time I will be using a VPN for sure.

That and I think I might try doing some "PK" transfers -- Getting a geared trader to let me pk them in wildy and sell the spoils to equal the purchased gp amount

 

yes. U can also try dropping in wildy/poh but pking is better albeit a bit more riskier. shame they closed the duel arena

Your account will never be unbanned. I caught rwt ban in 2018 and still banned on that account till this day.

 

my main account also got banned probably the same day as yours was 5 days ago, always used VPN, sold more than 20b and bought also, i think its because i forgot to turn the VPN 2 days before the ban.
