i Fucking lol'd

i remember back in BH (old crater ) bans like this were handed out to those xfering via BH. i still have an account banned from it.

 

One ban reason i never had is RWT hope to keep it that way.

 

Oh wow I didn't know they did this. Luckily this never happened to me when transferring.

Yeah I think I'm in the clear for this considering how long it's already been.

 

Well heres proof they are indeed mass banning gold farmers.

I'm happy in a way . People like you wreck the game.

 

I'm happy that none of my actual goldfarming accounts got banned and that I only lost 700k.

I'm still enjoying my 100m/day don't worry

Also, it's people like me who keep items in the game affordable for players to have more fun

 

Oh dear... Change your RS password ASAP. And the the OP, don't be surprised if an innocent account gets banned from the same IP you use to bot. No doubt Jagex will check other accounts on that IP for botting and will most likely ban them regardless if you've botted or not, use a VPN to counter this.

 

Thanks for the advice. I think this account that got banned was just from idungeon pro, because it was the only one using it. None of the others have been banned yet, so I'm not too worried about IP issues anymore. VPN takes awhile and is kinda a pain to set up too. I haven't had any issues yet with the actual goldfarm so I probably won't bother unless I do.

 

Lmao. I've had soooo many rs accounts banned because of luring in ancient wildy
I got a couple of these in crater-era as well. That was literally the dark ages of RS.

 

Damn bro, you fell for one of those phishing emails... the ones that they just made a post on the RS homepage warning you about. How many times and how many accounts have you logged into those fake websites? DOH! >_<

Run Malwarebytes and a regular virus scan just to be safe, then change your accounts passwords, recovery questions, and bank PINs. Hopefully you haven't been cleaned out yet.

 

It's crazy how much stricter they used to be about stuff like this. I still wish I had gotten into gold farming before this year though.

Also, as an update on the thread: It's been about 4 days now, and all of my other accounts are fine, despite having bought/sold/farmed about 1b. Seems like they are in the clear

Yeah, they've been cracking down hard. I guess some of the sellers are going to have to do scenario play now, such as pretending to be a dice host or something when transferring the money.

 

I assume most of that wealth was in phats?

I wonder if Jagex realizes that taking phats out of the game really doesn't help them.

 

Jagex I believe have stated before that they do not like having party hats in the game.

So it's a bonus for them.

My main got muted ~2 weeks ago, I never use offensive language, and it was right after a typical RWT transfer of 300M, largest I've ever done. For some weird reason the blackmark section doesn't show me why I got muted though, so I'm not 100% sure wether it's for RWT or not.

 

If they roll your wealth it's in stacks, ie you have 100k they'll roll it to 1 gp, if you have 20k coal, they roll it to 1 coal etc, im not sure if they do it with rares aswell, although i wouldn't be surprised if they did. when i got rolled cash wise they just removed my gp and my gold ores

I must say everything is a bit grey at the moment..

I don't bot or anything but I do buy a little bit of gold. Just to skill, get good items to boss with etc.. It seems the big traders are getting reset or under the watchful eye.. The thing is.. If you trade with them would you not be putting yourself under scrutiny?

 

I haven't heard any reports of someone getting banned just for buying a bit.
