RWT and Account Sharing

Hey guys, just a quick question from a noobie.

Thinking of selling off my gold, first time rwt'ing. I wouldn't care about being banned at this point. However, I'm wondering if my brother, who logged on to my account to get a fire cape for me a couple months back (i know, but my wifi sucks) would run a risk of getting IP banned as well. It's the only thing holding me back at this point since he's not as over the game as I am.

Anyway, short version: Want to RWT, does my brother who logged on to my account once so far run a risk of getting IP banned as well?

Unless you run a very large goldfarm on that IP you should be fine.

 

Thanks for the reply. So just to clarify do you mean my IP or his? I am just assuming that I'm risking an IP-ban for selling so I assume you're meaning that his should be risk-free? Thanks!

 

Jagex rarely chain bans unless you really piss them off.

 

I wouldn't be worried tbh. Jagex doesn't IP ban. they just watch it closely. But if your brother doesn't bot, then the chances of his account being affected is little to nothing

 

You should be safe. I use to rwt a lot and never received any chain bans even when I was moving billions of 07 gp daily.

 

To add onto this, I have multiple maxed out accounts of all types. If I RWT on one of them (a few bils in a short time), would just that account be banned, or all of mine?

As was said earlier, Jagex rarely chain bans. I highly doubt you will get banned on more than one account (if any) but it is possible.

 

Just be smart about how you trade it over when you sell it and I'm sure you'll be fine. As for your brother, even if you got banned I'm almost 100% he will not.
