RWT all accounts banned?

do all of an individuals accounts get banned if he/she is caught selling an account?

Don't post mislading information. There can be chain ban that'll ban all accounts linked to that IP, single account bans are way more often tho

 

That's extremely unlikely though unless you are selling 10s upon 100s of accounts monthly. Or a Chinese company or another country that's highly tracked

 

It depends on the mod that is banning you some of them just ban any ip related acc, or some of them are too lazy to track them (Matter of luck)

 

I think Jagex has moved away from Chain Bans in the past few years, because it is more difficult to ensure they all belong to the same person. IP addresses are less identity-specific today than they were 5 years ago. Keep in mind though Jagex also tracks your Device Address (MAC Address) and will use that for Chain Bans.

 

Explain how they have you mac address

 

It depends alot on how hot the IP address is. It is always safer to use a VPN to avoid other accounts getting banned that were not directly involved in the transaction.

 

I'm also very interested in how jagex would get your MAC Adress.... Maybe when you visit the website to register the account? But I don't think they could pull your MAC Address through a regular game client when just logging in and playing like normal? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

 

Depends on the severity.

One-Two time offenders, probably nothing.

Multiple offenders on multiple accounts not keeping themselves protected at all doing billions and billions worth, might get IP'D
