Rust! (PC)

[LoLSmurfin]

Check it out!

Rust is an awesome game from the creators of Garry's Mod! It's like Minecraft mixed with DayZ, and it's a heck of a fun game if you're into that sort of thing

It's currently in a quite limited Alpha testing stage - keys can be bought in a Dutch auction here, and theoretically, buying an Alpha key at some point will get you a Beta key during that period and the game itself when it comes out on Steam in the future!

I got my key for $32.00 as the fourth of five total people who can get a key during my hour, for reference. Let me know if you end up getting the game, and we can play! Still working through the steep learning curve as I just got the game today myself.

Online and playing again!

If you like DayZ or Minecraft, and especially both, buy into this game! You'll get Alpha, Beta, and the game on Steam later- and zombies have been fixed (are now running correctly), and it's awesome

[rattai]

Looks good. I'm gonna buy it

[Panicjsp]

Yeah, have to admit it looks like a lot of fun - enjoyed the videos - thanks for sharing and I'll keep you updated on whether I purchase it or not ^_^

[LoLSmurfin]

It's awesome! After I finish the LoL boost I'm on, I'm going to hop straight back on and play some more

Let me know if you guys want to play with me through TS or just the ingame voice chat or somethin'!

Online again! Check it out, people!

I don't think this will get too popular as the new dayz is coming out. I really like it though. Dropped to $25 a few moments ago.

[Add My Msn]

Went down to $18 today with 2 keys available and then both got bought.

[Ziggily]

It looks interesting

Can't wait to see it for myself.

[LoLSmurfin]

Are you looking to get it, Ziggily?

Art, as much as I hate "wasting" money, I can honestly say I don't mind having paid $32 for a key. I've had that much fun playing

Speaking of which, about to play some more.. Heh

Yeah I bet more people were rushing to buy at the time, so that was a good price. Maybe next week it will be like $10. =D

[LoLSmurfin]

If it is, you need to get it! My ingame friends have been offline a lot since I joined their village D:

[Add My Msn]

If Dangelo ever pays me back, I'll get it at $25.

I've got a Rust account. I registered a one letter name but apparently they've changed the name system?

EDIT: I registered it when it was pre-alpha, when max people online was around 3-4 at a time.

[LoLSmurfin]

Servers are back up

[n4n0]

I might buy this, looks interesting.

Edit: Just picked this up for $30. Will check it out tomorrow.

I had been trying to get a key for ages when it came out, hopefully I can run by the bank and deposit some cash soon!

[LoLSmurfin]

NA East is back down :l

N4N0, I'm pumped for ya.. It's a ton of fun! Let me know if you want to play, and I can hop over to your server or vice versa. The game's got just a bit of a learning curve, plus other players are probably going to be your biggest issue.

Personally, I find the game most fun when it's played with someone, although all of my Rust friends so far are just ingame friends.

Been playing this shit all fucking night..... Sigh.

I find this game interesting, but I'm from the UK can I still buy it online or something? Plus where do I run it on steam?

Also are these real people that I'm seeing on the video you've played like when he killed the person at the start was that a bot or a real person online also playing?
