Fallout 4 DLC - worth $38 CAD?

I'm back into Fallout 4, haven't played since only vanilla was out. Just wondering if getting the season pass for $38 is worth it? I've heard that the DLCs prices are too high at stock pricing, so wondering if the reduced cost makes it worthwhile.

For example. There is one DLC for F4 that has you go to an island to investigate a missing person. This DLC is Far Harbor. It is almost story board similar to Fallout 3 DLC point lookout (I have played every fallout DLC).

It is not worth it unless you really want the level cap and maybe if you haven't played 3 or new vegas.


Do yourself a favor and go spend $20 on fallout new vegas ultimate edition with all the DLC and you'll never like another fallout game again. Fallout New vegas is still the best fallout ever made and I have beat it in everyway possible, so i may have some bias since I am a NV fanboy



In fact, I am only buying fallout 4 on PC for the Fallout 4: New Vegas mod

 

I just hate DLC in general. They take a game, cut parts out, and sell it for extra.

But even if you do buy DLC, I wouldn't recommend Fallout 4's. I've played through some of the DLC's and they're mediocre at best.

I wish obsidian would make a new fallout. The fallout I wish to see is a Chinese based fallout (since it is a major part of the story), or even one based on the west coast that will play off of Nee Vegas' story
