Running multiple bots at the same time, on the same computer. Yay or nay?

Is it safe to run three or four bots at the same time, all from the same IP/computer?

Assuming I'm only running the bots for a max of 6 hours each day.

 

I'm running like 5 bots 24/7 on the same computer..

 

It does not matter, jagex doesn't use Ip's to check for botters for whatever reason. have been running my farm on a single computer for 12-18 hours a day for the past few years and no bans.

 

Have you been banned before? If so, how? (Like too oblivious?)


So I'm basically safe in doing this?

 

Most likely. I did this with 6 accounts for well over a month.
And not even ONE account got banned.. so you should be safe
the biggest thing they could do is an IP ban anyways..

 

Ight cool, thanks for the information. I heard they can't IP ban, due to the fact that large groups on the same domain would all be banned. (I.e. universites)

 

I've botted 4 accounts at most and have never been banned or had any infractions.

 

You're safe, I think the Clients have a different IP so it's cool

 

Good idea if your computer is capable of holding up.

Yay I've botted personally 10 accounts 24 hours for 4 days, my friend has a gold farming thread on pb and is a super nerd he bots over 80 accounts at the same time

 

From experience, you will be fine running any number of bots on 1 PC.

 

After reading this i think I am going to add a few more bots to my collection .

 

The accounts are linked to one IP.

 

I wouldn't, all three of my accounts got temp banned about a week ago. I had never been caught before that. I think my botting days are over.

 

Were you botting all 3 accounts on a PC or a VPS?

Were all 3 accounts doing the same thing? e.g. wcing yews

 

I bot 2 at once every day since rsbot came out. But its good to take brakes to.
