Totally agree with all that, but unfortunatly the clan world is dying very fast because of the wild update. For example there used to be well over 20+ strictly P2P clans now there is under 10 F2P clans there used to be 50+ now there is under 25 i mean F2P is still doing well activity wise, but cmon...get real its nowhere near what it used to be, nor as fun.

I would rather not spend 234565432 years leveling up and doing quests.

Just really came back to the game after years, and i remember when being a high level was 100-115 combat.. this is way before summoning, now i'm not one for combat but its terrible the amount of people completing 99s like its a breeze.

every game has to upgrade its game graphics and add more updates to make it easier for players and to attract more people to play it. if runescape was the same as in the past I hardly believe anyone would play it

Personally, I hate quests however short or easy, except if there is a really complex bit in it, like a puzzle. I get no sense of accomplishment from following a guide from step 1-20, but do if it takes skill.

I think it's totally true. I'm awaiting the release of rs2006 myself.

On top of the fact that the new armors, and the squeal of fortune completely wrecked the game.

Quest guides don't make the game easier because most quests were never hard, just frustrating.

Quest guides kinda ruin the point of quests IMO, I just wish there were some more quests that required skill and thought, rather than follow instructions for an hour.

It really is shameful how many people use Quest guides in everyday questing; defeats the purpose like was said before.

About the only time I started using guides was when I started doing quests for people, only really to get them done asap, moreso for the quests I only have done a little amount of times. Now I've done some quests so many times over(for many people; especially the Turmoil ones, MM, DT, etc), about the only thing I need to look at is the items to get; I've memorized the actual quests.

I save the 'no guide' thought for my own personal account, as that's where I actually pay attention to the storyline, etc. It can be really fun if you're in it for more than the reward, especially if you do with friends.
