I'm posting this dispute in regard to Runescape™. I honestly, fully support the unban.

Hi, I was just banned earlier and I would appreciate if I was to be heard out as from what I see, I was banned in error.

To my understanding I was banned in error due to owning the account name "9" which has in the passed been used to scam users on Sythe - However there are things I would like to clarify before an actual final decision is made.

I do not actually own the *account* 9 but rather only the display name. I managed to acquire this name by contacting Jagex and fooling them into thinking I was hacked on 9 and I requested a name change which was then followed through by Jagex and I managed to snipe the name after waiting around half an hour.

If any evidence of this is requested, I will present it as needed. I do in no way condone scamming people on Sythe and would appreciate it if my account was unbanned and returned to the status in which it was before.

Alright. I am acquainted with the previous owner of "9" (he has offered to sell it to me a few times over the past 6 months), so I am going to try and contact him and see what he has to say about the events that led to 9 changing hands.

I'm not quite sure why he wouldn't be unbanned, because if the fact is that it's a all new account, and he had no contact with the original owner (or he did, but he wasn't involved with the scamming) then I wouldn't understand why he would be banned.

I as well support an unban, if there is proof that its just a display name, there is no reason he should be banned just to happen to pick up a display name that was once used to scam

Sorry, I had another 5 day Army event and am getting back on top of things. Word through the grapevine is that Logan is no longer the owner by no malicious means though, and 9 is the display name as stated in the dispute. Unbanned.

(And I laughed my ass off at that video btw).
