or be a ranged tank and get 99 crafting

 

yeah it would be cool to play for a few days.. but being totally self sufficient wold make me go crazy.

 

If this were to happen, I might actually play legit. No lie.

So pretty much you'd need 99 Mining, then 99 Smithing, then make yourself rune armor to go solo Bandos (nearly impossible in rune), and then you would have good armor. :/

 

1. kill dragons using ranged
2. raise crafting with hides and alch hides
3. use best hides for barrows
4. good armor to solo gwd
5. game

 

It would be fun but the interactions with other players is what makes the game so fun. It would be nice if you could go to like a "home" world where it is only you. That could be an easy solution to avoiding botters.

 

Where are you from?!?!? GE is new lolz, i remember when you had to run to fally garden to find people selling items, and when you had to spend 10 minutes getting into world 2. The good old days when lucky dds specs were pro.

Also firemaking is usfull. If your in the middle of no where fishing. and you have a hatchet an tiderbox you can make yourself some food to heal up.

and for armor
(alch stuff for money/mine rune essence ect...)
1) buy full rune from the champions guild
2) buy d long from zanaris
3) goto barrows/get full torags
4) goto gwd and solo Bandos

 

120 dungeoneering will take forever.

Haha ^_^ I made my account back in '05. I played a few weeks, then quit. I just recently started again, so my Runescape knowledge isn't that big.

 

One more bump for the hell of it.

 

No shame in that. If I hadn't played Runescape for the past 6 years, I would probably be better off.

 

They would need to revamp the game with single player concept in mind. A fairly large portion of the game is based on the assumption that the game is an MMORPG, and you can interact with other players to get what you need.

It would be fun, especially if the graphical details were raised up to the standards of Oblivion, but this remains highly unlikely since RS was designed from the ground-up to be a Multiplayer game. Nice idea though.

 

Setting the GE aside (and things like Nex and Heroes Quest/Shield of Arrav), that's not really true. Multiplayer cooperation does make the game easier and more fun, but I'll bet someone could max themselves out without ever talking/trading with anyone. It would certainly be more difficult, but that would be the point of creating a single-player RPG, for players that are bored with the way things are now, and want to dedicate themselves to a new game (like when Black Ops came out).

 

This would be great, of course alot of things would be changed to adapt players to single player. More monsters would drop weapons etc..

They'd definitely need to add more quests and add NPC followers and parties :O.
Questing around RuneScape with Nomad, the Wise Old Man, and Thok? Shit's going down.

 

I like the idea but it would be pointless tbh.

 

Tbh I only play rs for the online interaction .. As a consol I idmagine it to be as final fantasy game
