Runescape VPN? (non botting)

I am getting ddosed so regularly that I need a vpn to play runescape on.
Any suggestions? Happy to pay up to 10$/month for a good one.

 

If you think you're being DDoSed then you may want to simply ring your ISP up and explain what's going on and request a new one, they should issue you a new one without any trouble.

As for a VPN, the only one I've ever used is Overplay, the speed was pretty good and the pricing was fair.

 

stupidly nooby question, but how does using a vpn work? Like what does the screen look like, do you need to download anything.

 

^ Like he said, If your own internet is being DDOS'd then contact your ISP provider and he can backtrack which connection is well sending packets to you constantly.

But if you are lagging a lot. Just let them know that your connection is poor and having bad latency, they should reset your line/connection and setup a new one.

 

You need only windows remote control, but i suggest changing your own IP instead paying 10$ extra to play

 

A normal VPN window (or at least the Overplay one) looks like this:



You basically start it up, and then select what server/country you want, and then press connect. It will take around 5-15 seconds to connect depending on the server, after it connects your IP should change to that one which belongs to the server.

Again, if you really think you are being DDoSed, it is much easier to request a brand new IP address rather than spend money to use someone else's.

How much did you pay for VPN and it was used for botting?

 

I've never botted. I used their free VPN service that they offered for a short time, the speed on it was pretty good even though it was the free one. They do seem very high quality in terms of speed and such.

Try HideVPN. May take a day for them to setup, but it's pretty good quality. Ran a goldfarm of about 16 bots on one of their VPN's
