Flawed method. Lets say the table you are playing at is £1min £300max bets. This allows you to loose 9 times in a row. £1, £2, £4, £8, £16, £32, £64, £128, £256. If you add all these up it means you need a bankroll of at least £511 to place the 9th bet. Taking into account its not actually 50/50 because of the "0" it makes the odds of loosing 9 bets in a row 1 in 403. Lower than the bankroll needed. In short yes this method seems very good however these long losing streaks will hit you and take up all your money.

Just a few more odds for you,

Losing 4 times in a row 1 in 14,
5 times in a row, 1 in 28,
6 times in a row 1 in 55
7 times in a row 1 in 106.

EDIT: Also this method takes balls. If you are on a losing streak of 7, you are betting £64 on less than 50/50 to win £1 profit.

 

Not to burst your bubble or anything but this is a well known casino strategy and applies to many casino games including pontoon, roulette etc.

OT : Interested to see this log update >_< , i actually got cleaned using this method dicing, but i had a good long run an it was a series of unlucky events which happened to clean me.

 

there are 36 numbers in roulette, 37 including the 0.

therefore, it is 48.64% black, 48.64% red, 2.72% white.

from watching the casino table for 2 hours, the maximum win-streak i recorded was 5, in over 100 spins. why? because its extremely fucking rare.

landing on red once, 48.64%, everytime it occurs again, in a row without interrupt, the odds halve, so red twice in a row is 24.32%, three times 12.16% and so on. anything past a 5 streak wont happen very often, ever.

however i will keep this updated and let you know of any insane streaks of course.

i understand the risks, but the whole point of this thread is to show for once a runescape player had the balls to use a staking method in a real casino. i know i can lose all my money, but im bettings with my profits, not my irl bank. call me stupid sure but someone had to try it right? .

smart thing using only profits. The thing that worries me is that inevitably, you will lose all your profits. I would peace while you can, but the truth is man, the martingale betting strategy works in the short time, but in the long term, you will lose everything. Another thing that worries me is that the majority of roulettes, (even the european roulette) provide a 55 percent chance of the casino winning, and a 45 for the customer, this will largely change the probabilities. At any rate, since you are using profits, it doesn't seem to be that big of a deal. The main thing that worries me is that once you get cleaned for profits, you might be inclined to use non profit cash. Be smart, is all i can say. If you don't believe that you will get cleaned, please Google, "gamblers fallacy" or "martingale strategy cons"

This is so wrong... The reason those boards are up is to make people think that they can predict the future of the table by looking at them, and that's just wrong.

When you play roulette that wheel has no memory, sure, statistically it's improbable for it to happen 5X+ in a row that it is red or black, but the fact is, every time you spin the wheel you have the same odds of winning as you did before regardless of the last 5, 5000, or even 5,000,000 outcomes.

 

yeah my mates keep bringing that up.

but if it was a 48.64% chance every spin for black to come out, regardless of the previous spins, how come ive never seen a streak of 8+ on black or red, if its not unusual or rare to come out...

although last night did kinda turn the tables for me on what i believed, i witnessed 8 odd numbers come out in a row, then 0 came out which is neither odd/even/black/red, so that was a total of 9 spins without a even number... probability wise taking into account the previous numbers, its almost impossible, a ridiculously low chance. and i watched it happen.

wanna know a funny fact though, the formula was starting to fail as almost the entire night it was consistently a 75-25 ratio of red-black, and i was down alot of money, but i had been watching the "0" number for over 40+ spins, hadnt come out once, when its a 1/37 chance. so i bet £1.50 on it and won like £50.20 or something

2 spins later i bet 20p on white again and it came out again, twice in 3 spins, got another £7.20 lol

it almost seems sometimes its just best to trust your instinct...

guys about the streaks, what makes you think hitting a 1223543256 streak is impossible? yes, the chances are low but a totally randomised roulette should be able to hit that, making the 'guarantee' useless.

think about it, at first I didn't get it too, but it's like dicing irl, you can roll 12, 12, 12, 12 over a thousand times, it's pure luck.

I hope you are keeping in mind that previous spins on the roulette wheel have no effect over the next spin. For example if the wheel came up red 5 times in a row the odds for it being red again is 48.64% and not 1.33%. However the chances of it being red 6 times in a row is in fact 1.33%.
