Hey guys, havent been on sythe in a while, mainly because i quit runescape after my main got a insane harsh rollback, 200m total exp to 100m, 9 99's to 0.

but one of the main things i used to do on runescape, was staking.

i used to use the well known strategy where you used to bet 1m, if lose, 2m, if lose 4m, if lose, 8m and so on. so everytime you won which would eventually happen, you would make your original bet as profit, then repeat.

as i am 18 years old and registered at the local casino, was having a few casual drinks and bets with a few mates for a laugh on a typical night out, then it hit me. what if i used that old staking "formula" i used to use on rs...here on the old roulette tables...

i know this is a popular topic which ive seen many people discuss, but i havent seen a single thread of someone actually having the bollocks to do it, so i thought you guys might be interested to read this.

so guys, i am going to test it out and update you of my progress, wasnt sure whether to post this in the runescape general section, but as the whole idea originated from runescape, i feel inclined to post it here.

The Idea:

so whilst at the casino, i started it off small as we're talking real money now. as "box staking" is considered 50-50, i tried to replica this by:

only betting on "black/red" on the roullete table, as this is 50-50, with 1 unhandled exception in the equation which of course the "0" tile, which means it is not red neither black, however you get 50% of your bet back if it lands on it, one flaw.

so i picked red, and stayed with it, £1 bets everytime until it hit black, then £2, if black again then £4, if red then i go back to £1 bets, same as the staking formula.

only alterations i made was if i hit a win-streak on red 4 times in a row, i would then bet on black 1-2 times and head back to red as usual. another aspect was counting all the previous 20 numbers, and working out the ratio of black-red which influenced my decision on what to pick rarely, such as if the last 20 numbers were 14 blacks 6 red, i would feel inclined to bet red more, until it evened out alittle.

Day 1 (last week):

being my first time testing it out, i managed to turn £10 into £30 sticking to the formula, and was very satisfied, there was a couple streaks where i nearly got cleaned, e.g. black came out 4 times in a row 3 times, and black once came out 5 times in a row, however this worked both ways and every betting "round" so to speak i always made my original bet of £1 back in profit.

i understand the risks, but the whole point of this thread is to show for once a runescape player had the balls to use a staking method in a real casino. i know i can lose all my money, but im bettings with my profits, not my irl bank. call me stupid sure but someone had to try it right? .

Day 2:

7th july, i went back and continued the method. i had continuous bad luck streaks, where i picked black and stood to it, and it was literally overall coming out 80% red, 20% black over around 30 spins, it was extremely unconventional and dodgy. watched the entire previous 24 number history being very one-sided. i almost got cleaned, went down to only a couple quid. but i managed to recover, and actually broke loose from the formula, it was failing me.

i resulted to playing strictly statistically, playing by probability. i waited for 4+ winstreaks of rather black/red, odd/even, or 1-18/19-36, and once i witnessed 4+ winstreaks of these, i then came in and bet for the opposite, as they were statistically, due or coming up soon. i managed to profit another 20 pounds. day 1 i profited 20 pounds, today i profited 20 pounds, giving me a total of £40 up .

now im not too sure weather im going to continue the formula, or continue this other method of waiting for ideal moments then betting. what are your views?

Day 3:

not much to say really, used a new strategy, and overall from being up and down ended up profiting £5.80, nice recovery though from being £20 down, 3 trips to the casino, profited everytime , new strategy was picking a number that hadnt come out in 25+ spins, bearing in minds its a 1/37 chance of it landing on it, then betting 40p on it everytime until it comes out. 40p bet returns £14.40, idea being it would take like 36 spins to lose £14.40, which means the number would have to not come out for 61 spins in total for me to start losing money.

also continued to place bets on things when they opposite had come in 6 times in a row, e.g. 6 odds in a row, i bet even, 6 blacks in a row, i bet red. etc.

Starting money: £10
Current money: £55.80

i honestly doubt you will win... roulette is in the house's favor. you just got lucky this time around but you will end up losing money if you continue to do this

My brother does this already but you need a high starting cash, he does it on the wheel thing and bets on reds and blacks (i dont know much about casinos haha)

i think it's ironic that you took a well known staking method and applied it to roulette when that method originated in roulette.

Yeah these types of betting methods came from casino games in the first place. Good luck making some cash but like someone said, Roullete is in the casinos favour. I play blackjack because at my casino thats the only game where you know its legit as there is a human dealing the cards to you and you play against them.

 

Yes, I've read that, if they find out, they will ban you from their casino. It's kinda forbidden to use this tactic.

 

theres 2 nearby casinos where i live, if i get banned, ill go to the other one xD lol
