RuneScape Recording?

Hey guys. I'm looking for a good but cheap RuneScape recorder. I'm not too familiar with them however and it's a first for me to record anything on my computer. What would you guys recommend? I don't mind spending a little bit of money, but if possible I would prefer a free recorder. Any advice? Thanks!

Well if you mean like screencapturing/video recording I always use Hypercam which is like the best thing I have seen so far. Its free as well and works great. Only downfall it uses alot of CPU on my computer but I manage.

 

Camtasia Studio is good too.

 

I use hypercam if I want less lag, so for pking.. And I use camtasia for better quality..

Hypercam for pking. Shouldn't be too much to handle if you're on 1GB ram+

 

You can try Camtasia, I use it all the time.

 

I'd say Camtasia or (I think) fraps, both are good, and commonly used.

 

Camtasia Studio is the obvious choice here

 

CamStudio is free and doesn't leave an obstructive marker at the top-left corner of the screen. Its' quality is pretty good too. If I recall correctly, Camtasia Studio is a paid program, but I'm not sure.

camStudio is a great program for this.
It's free, can use multiple compression codecs and can save in both avi and swf files.
Use it in combination with a editing program like windows movie maker (free) or sony vegas (paid) to make videos.

 

fraps is amazing

 

I'd say Hypercam for ease of use, but FRAPS is what you really want to use.
