runescape membership pin HELP!!!!!

i recently had a pin scammed of me and i was wondering if there was anyway i could get it back. i bout the pin via SMS. Ive heard about filing back pins, could anyone give me more info on this

i bought it straight of runescape

 

Once the person who scammed you used the pin there's not much of a chance of you getting it back.

 

do you know why all the major pin sellers on sythe talk about if they get scammed out of a pin they will file it back?

 

There is 0% you can get it back, The person who scammed only can give you back, There is no proof to jagex to give your pin back. Peace.

A PIN is sent to every user who texts the PayBySMS service. We operate a reverse billing procedure, where you are only charged when we successfully send you a PIN. If you have not received the PIN, you will not be charged.

The four main reasons that this occurs are:

* Your network provider blocks inbound premium rate text messages;
There was not enough money on your mobile phone to pay for a full month of membership;
* Your text message inbox was full meaning the PIN could not be received;

should i appeal to jagex saying the pin was stolen from me without my permission or something?

They would probably want to know why it was scammed and you don't want to tell them you were trying to sell it.

 

I doubt you'll get it back, but, if you do call JaGex or whoever it is you need to call and they accept your story, whatever account the pin redeemed on will have a negative balance.

Jeeven, you purchased the Pin from Jagex, correct? Then, you will need to look through the PayBySMS Payment FAQ here, or sumbit a billing inquery here.

 

Unfortunatley, Jagex do not have a call line.

Try telling them it didn't work when you tried applying it and see if they can just give you a new one, but they could check to see which account applied the pin.

Sorry, once the pin is applied you can't get it back. If you have adequate proof report the person that scammed you so they can be reprimanded.
