I liked your post. I think you need to take into consideration the amount of active in game accounts in comparison to the amount of Jagex Staff.

I have never gotten an account banned before, and I use all payed bots. I move around a lot irl and set up my laptop to bot where i go meaning i bot from different connections. I also use a wide variety of bots. I have been botting about 20 hours of the day lately on one of my accounts, and in the last day it has gotten a way more randoms than an account normally gets.

What do you make of this?

 

Well first off I would never bot more then 8 hours but that is your decision. You have one big thing to your advantage and that is you are always changing IP. At first this may not come across helpful but it makes a ban appeal much more believable to Jagex (since they can't prove you logged on at all of those locations). As far as the randoms you may have received them due to the vast amount of time you were logged in. Also it could just be luck of the draw. My guess is you don't babysit 20 hours a day so you may have just popped in during a time that you truely did receive more randoms then usual. Certain worlds tend to get more randoms because they are more common to macro in (quick-chat only is an example of this). I also believe that Jagex has increased the number of randoms based on the skill you are training. For example it is much more common to receive a random while woodcutting than it is farming or training agility.

Weigh all of these factors in and see if any of them applied to you.

I would also like to mention that this confirms my suspicion about Jagex decompiling bots as mentioned above:

"We regularly dismantle macros, and the most common approach taken is object recognition with a series of programmed responses. One of our very first attempts to counter this was random color changes, usually not very noticeable. This turned out to be a failure as object recognition technology
proved to be far ahead of this eventuality."

 

What do all of you think Jagex will do in the future as far as macro detection?

Ok, every1 that talks about rs anti-bot system says that BCEL is 100% detectable because it injects.

Well BCEL is an sort of injection, but its not like loading a .dll into CounterStrike. I had a conversation with Kosaki (maker of kBot) about reflection and BCEL (he used both in 1 btw) and its almost not detectable, also allot of BCEL functions should make the bot far more accurate (like clicking a tree). BCEL is NOT detected because of the injection (otherwhise every1 would be banned...) although, relfection is 'better'.

BCEL has his bad name because powerbot uses it and thats free, not stable, but I'm sure that you can make a kick-ass bot with BCEL (what Kosaki was doing).


Also, both BCEL and Reflection read data (from the RAM), Reflection does this external, but it could (in theory) be detected (If RuneScape would scan for the other processes running on the PC, check if the process is reading runescape's data...).
RiD reads the screen, not the RAM, which means they dont have any probs with rs updates, etc.


About the randoms - Every1 says it is used to detect bots, well, it probably does (the new ones) but the first one where just made to make the bot crash.

It's not a copy paste this is 100% my own work, however when I first made this guide my connection freaked and it made like 3 articles...

 

Reading this has made to come to despise JaGex despite the fact I don't bot on my main, ever.

I was wondering, if Jagex shut down rsbot.org, what keeps them from shutting down other runescape bot sites such as rsbots.net or RiD?

If anyone knows, please post here or better yet me PM me the answer. I'm really interested in knowing.
