    The moment that bots/real world gold trading took over and Jagex didn't really try to stop it, RS died.

    Its dieing everyday, and jagex knows it that why their milking it for all its worth now with the refer a friend updates, etc (and because jagex has a large portion of stocks owned by investors now)

    Ah, so many fun years of playing RuneScape. I've been with RuneScape ever since it came out. And it will be sad to see RuneScape shutdown in the future. Also RuneScape was the game that got me into computer gaming.

    Runescape Is Dying?
    I agree that RS is dying. To be completely honest, excessive botting and Jagex is killing the game... in f2p you almost can't go anywhere without seeing an advertising bot. Jagex could assign 3 JMods to go around looking for ad bots to ban.... would make such a huge difference. if they don't they will keep loosing legit and unlegit players.
