This has always been a personal issue for me, I don't know why it irritates me so much
Bigger gold sellers title their threads with extremely clickbait titles and often false advertise what they are selling
The amount of times I click on a thread that claims to be selling for a set price but am then met with a price that is 1.5x as much is unreal
Why are they allowed to advertise in this way?

Pretty sure they used to sale/buy the gold at that specific rate, but forgot to edit the thread title once the prices go up/down.

This is true. It happens more than you'd think.

They know they can get away with it and they are friends with staff so they know no action will be taken.
Any question you give them will be met with "do you want to buy gold or no"

 

Well in that case we should forbid titles like "TRUSTED" or "CHEAPEST" or "BEST" aswell. Those are all clickbait titles. However I do partly agree they should keep their prices up to date.
