It's really not very complicated as others have explained. The way the new pvp works is you receive random drops from a kill... NOT the equipment the person who died was carrying. The random drop is based on the worth of the equipment the player who died was carrying, the worth of your own equipment, whether you're in a hot spot and how long you have stayed in a dangerous zone for before the kill. So, when someone brings 25k in f2p or 75k in p2p and they die with it, the person who killed them has a high chance of receiving loot that is worth much more than this. Then in return they will do the same thing for the person who they killed and the cycle continues as such until both players have gained considerably more money than they originally invested.
