Runescape Bug Abuse Guide - Version 2

[svew]

Please read the entire thread (including the FAQ) before responding.

Many of you may remember me from my moderator forum leaks and bug abuse videos.

It's been a while since I made one of these threads.

I decided to completely update one of my older bug abuse guides. I added a variety of new bugs, updated some of the outdated information, and added Kami's historical bug abuse notes as a bonus. I also made it easier to read and understand, I think the previous version threw too much at readers at once.

I was previously selling this guide privately, but decided to release it for free here.

Enjoy. It is a lengthy read, but extremely informative and useful if you plan on finding glitches (such as transfer methods) to abuse on Runescape or sell here on Sythe.

Guide is now at version 1.3. Added a section on item smuggling and a brief history on the different methods on smuggling barricades/bandages from Castle Wars.

FAQ:

Q: Get rid of the ads!!
A: Deal with it. I'm releasing this guide for free, the least you could do is appreciate it and deal with the ads. I am using paid webhosting and a real domain name and I need to pay it off somehow.

After you view the site once, they will go away for good, so you can check back later for updated versions without a problem.

Q: Will you ever release another moderator forum leak?
A: YES. I have leaked another copy of the moderator forums here:

http://sythe.org/showthread.php?t=967751

Q: What's your MSN?
A: If you need to contact me, PM me over Sythe and I may provide you with my email.

Q: Wrong forum?
A: Last time I released a guide here the mods were fine with it. If they really feel it needs to be moved then feel free.

Thank you svew, you never fail to impress.

(Survey was a pain in the ass but well worth it).

Sweet, I remember your last Bug Abuse Guide and it was great. Noticed you been online a bit and was wondering what you'd be doing next, can't wait to read. Thanks.

Lol @ Cpalead. Are you really trying to get money for this.

Lol @ Cpalead. Are you really trying to get money for this.

Don't be such a damn ingrate.

This should be stickied.

[svew]

I'm working on version 1.3 at the moment which is going to be a much larger update than what is currently online.

Don't worry, ads should not appear after viewing the site once, so you should be able to view newer releases once they're online immediately.

Lol @ Cpalead. Are you really trying to get money for this.

I bought my own webhosting and domain. I need to pay it off somehow. Don't want JaGeX to take down my site this time.

Because you've previously shared valuable information before and are doing it again, I'll allow you to have this up.

[nonamekiller]

I remember you're old threads when I played runescape! Always a good read.

Sticky this IMO, like the last thread.

Amazing read, the last one impressed and this one did the same

[Determinate]

Sorry, There are no surveys available to your
country at this time. Please try back later.

So what now?

[svew]

^ Sorry about that. Should work now.

[Determinate]

Now I can see the text, but it's shaded all grey and whenever I try to scroll down it forces me back up.

Don't get a popup about surveys anymore...

[svew]

That's strange...PM me and I'll try to figure out what's wrong.

[Determinate]

Worked now, thanks.

[JezusTime]

Damn dude, that was awesome. I wish i was a bug abuser. I've always been fascinated by it.

[World Domination]

You never fail to impress svew!

Also, note to anyone using adblock, you will have to disable it on the page to do the survey to view the content.

[uselesspoop]

I usually hate doing fucked up surveys, but im going to do this one.

edit : ugh, damn, duckhunt didn't work i can't access it..:/

[svew]

Thanks for the positive feedback guys.

Just updated the guide. Added a section on item smuggling (section 7) and a short history on the different methods of smuggling barricades/bandages from Castle Wars (section 9). This was originally going to be a larger update but decided against it due to the questionable legality of the subject I was going to explain (it was nothing "immoral" or looked down upon like account hijacking, just something that could potentially help you find bugs).

Anyone who's seen the previous version can look at the new info without having to go through any ads.

Also, if there's anything you'd like me to explain in the guide, feel free to suggest it here.

Edit: Just fixed a bug on the site that caused some of the text to render improperly.

Thank you very much svew .. I have always wanted to get into bug abuse, but never knew where to start. I haven't read your guide yet, but I am very thankful that you wrote it.

[tasticz]

got it without doing survey rofl....
