I refuse to migrate to WPF and WinForms sucks cocks for alpha blending, which is only REALLY frustrating. I made up a very basic panel that acts as a regular panel, but has a transparent background with an alpha property to change the opacity.

Differences from a normal panel (also documentation):
    • AlphaColor: This is pretty much the background color. Don't use the default BackColor property, it'll just change the panel's background to opaque. Keep it on transparent.
    • BackgroundAlpha: A number between 1 and 255 that represents the alpha level (opacity) of the background color. Default is 80 or something.
    • Backcolor: As mentioned above, don't change this from transparent unless you want an opaque background.

    Nice work!

I seldom use WinForms, but this is worth having for when I do. :)
