Runescape Application Blocked?

Everytime I hit "play now" on runescape, I get the spinning circle under the Runescape sign for ages. Then, I get the "Application Blocked" popup.

Basically, it says that like www.world8.runescape.com (or something like that) has been blocked.

Then, it goes further to say "Your security settings have blocked an untrusted application from running"

It's with Java.

I uninstalled and then redownloaded Java and it still happens.

I deleted the Jagex cache and it still happens.

Whats up?

 

Don't know why that would happen. Have you tried to use the client though?

 

Yes I get the same thing. I played a lot and then I just went to login yesterday and bam it hit me.

 

Check firewall or antivirus.

 

You probably need to open/allow a port on your firewall or allow TCP In/Out Traffic if it is blocked
