RuneScape, 1 Defence pure ruined

1 Defence pures, keeping the defence sometimes 1 is hard.

What do you guys do to prevent it getting ++ Defence?

dunno really apart from keep the weapon on aggressive. avoid spears and butterfly nets as weapons too.

 

I don't. I just make them 20 defence pures. (Initiate pures can smite out claws like no other).

 

what are their defence now?
has their cb mean affected?

 

All defences of them are arround 4-20 now..

 

Well what is the reason why you are gettin defence surley you know?

 

Why would you start a new pure.. get over it its makes like max a 4% difference while fighting

 

You need to be careful about what you equip =)

 

if you set the goal 1 xp above your current xp. it comes up saying well done you reached your desired xp.

 

dont bother using whip/dds because you have to bother with like style switches, if you never bother with your style switch, you wont have to worry about getting defence up

 

never ever change weon or un equip it after useing bows and stuff always check and spells aswell some spells are defensive give defence xp and set your goal to 2xp on defence if u get any def exp it will say u reached ur goal so it will notify u before its to late hopefully

 

mostly this if your f2p it shouldnt a problem

 

The achievment thingy is really handy.. Will use def. in the Future.

 

Somehow i've managed to keep my defence at 1. STILL! Just make sure that your Auto-Retaliate is OFF.

 

i've managed to keep my defence at one, but I'm a 60 attack pure so I don't have to worry about whips..

 

Before you go hybridding always check if you're receiving defence exp for magic.
I've had a few 1 defence pures myself, and when I logged in, I basically automatically checked what style I was on.
Also be careful with weapons/equipment you never use, and ofcourse quests, always check if you receive defence XP.
Also do this with minigames, and you should be fine.

 

Doesnt matter if you get some defence levels by accident. Im 3def atm on my maxed 77atk pure. Getting it turmoil atm. will be 30def with 95pray. Turmoils are the way forward now in the pure community. Everyones getting it. MM dont't accept turmoil and thats why their no longer #1 p2p.

 

The defense level that low doesn't really matter, shouldn't alter your combat level enough to kill your pure completely. What I usually do is just know what weapon your using, like going from aggressive to a shared is the #1 way to fuck up./

problem solved really, you'd have to purposely click def, if using whips, i just use accurate style.

 

This is an extremely good idea, never really thought of it before. Also make sure defensive casting isn't on!
